so i'm living in the basement of a gorgeous brownstone in chelsea right now and Arthur, Sam's grandfather, left to hawaii today so i essentially had the entire brownstone to myself. I decided it would be a perfect time to use the piano in the living room to learn Kesson Dalef. It's a song by Aphex Twin off of Drukqs. I've always wanted to learn it but never had a piano around. It's basically two parts, that I've got down...the only problem is I can't do them simultaneously since I've never really played piano. my goal this week is to learn that song perfectly and upload a video for proof. Anyways I've already posted this song like a year ago or maybe even two years ago but here it is again just for a little reminder.

Week 8

I am officially in my 8th week of my final Spring term here at the U of O. It's hard to believe that in a mere few weeks, I will be a college graduate! Holy shit. I'm excited that July19th I'll be heading off to the DomRep for who knows how long then moving to NYC. Let's see how long I survive there. Obviously, I want to get into the music scene but then again who doesn't in NYC? On that note, here is another one of my favorite Boards of Canada song...

my blog has been fucked up for the last couple of months cos i kept messing around with it so it would look nicer for my invisible readers...buttttt....i ended up making it worse than before and now i don't know how to fix it, so it'll stay this way. anyways...i've been doing ballet for 4 months now and this is the song we always warm up our ankles and feet and bodies too....it's a good way to start the 9 am class. hopefully you enjoy it too. it's a little peppier sounding than the music i normally listen too but i'm feeling happy these days.


PS. i was listening to BoC's peel session and had heard this song before but hadn't ever really LISTENED to it and holy shit it's amazing - Aquarius (Version 3)

my new favorite band !

i've heard of grizzly bear but never really heard them. Anyways I was doing some homework and decided to listen to the albums that I have...amazing. Their music is so beautiful and really fits all of my random moods!! I have posted two of my favorites..one from their album veckatimist and another from their album yellow house. ENJOY!!!!!! :)
